Have you received an Information Notice from Queensland Police regarding your firearms or licence?

Please read the below information to help you understand your notice. If you are not sure why you have received this notice please check Part C Reasons of your notice.

POLICE WILL SEND INFORMATION NOTICES BASED ON:

Domestic Violence Order or Aggravated Violence Order

Reasoning: This could be for your own protection or you have had an order placed against you.

Failure to disclose:

Reasoning: Police do stringent checks on your criminal background. If you have failed to disclose a previous charge or interaction, you may be rejected on this basis.

PTA rejection is based on multiple firearms in the same calibre.

Reasoning: Police often query PTA’s on firearm calibre.
